Mercedes S 63 AMG coupe is all set to run on the Indian roads


The Mercedes Benz S 63 AMG coupe carries a 4.0-litre V8 engine that churns out 612BHP of power and 900nm of torque.

To expand its portfolio Mercedes Benz is all set to launch its fourth performance oriented product s 63 AMG in India by 18th June 2018. E 63 S, the special edition of SLC 43 red art and GLE 43 orange art are the three products which are introduced recently. Furthermore, the coupe is expected to have a price tag over the mark of 2.5 crores. The most desiring and noteworthy factor lies under the hood, as its a Mercedes AMG. This AMG has a 4.0 litre V8 bi-turbo engine with twin-scroll turbocharger.

It can extensively produce 612bhp @6000rpm and 900Nm of torque at 4500rpm. This is the smaller engine when compared towards the previous version of the 5.5-litre engine but still is more powerful.

The S 63 gets a 9G AMG Speedshift gearbox that powers the rear wheels. There is also a cylinder deactivation energy for fuel consumption. This AMG can run in 3.5 seconds in 0-100kmph with a top speed of 250kmph electronically. There is also an optional AMG drivers package, it can raise up to 300kmph.


AMGs aggression is also given to this model also minimising the S class’s elegance. The interiors are elegant and carry forward the s class mark.

The S 63 is a 4 seater coupe and there are two digital display units of 12.3 inches each as they act as instrument cluster and infotainment system yet, both of them provide enough information for the drive.

This new AMG can compete especially with Bentley Continental GT, Porsche Panamera and its lifetime rivals like Audi and Jaguar.
