The MG Hector options will include a 1.5-litre, 143hp turbo-petrol, a 2.0-litre, and an FCA-sourced diesel engine too. There will be a six-speed manual for both the engines. On the other hand, the turbo-petrol can also get an option of a six-speed, dual-clutch automatic gear train. Also, there will be a 48-volt mild-hybrid version that is said to be 12 percent more efficient than the petrol one.

Among the features, the outstanding and most anticipated one is the voice control infotainment system.
