Vazirani, a Mumbai based automaker has put its first hypercar “shul” in its studio. This is the first time that this supercar is on display after its launch in 2018 Goodwood Festival of speed.
Hailed as the first Indian hypercar, shul uses a micro-turbine range extender with a lightweight battery that charges the motorsMumbai powering each of the four wheels.
“The idea is to create something that has a unique powertrain and design that go hand in hand,” says the chief designer Chunky Vazirani. He also says that Shul was designed under the supervision of Gran Turismo video game Kazunori Yamauchi. This is the reason for having GT logo above the exhaust.
The Shul is a very unique hypercar with a new design, sleek cuts, and eye catchy look. The company says that this type of design can be helpful for maintaining 1000+hp speed. There are many air ducts on the front face of the car for the purpose of air feeding to the batteries and also to cool the brakes.
The rear part of the car is very impressive with integrated spoiler and double diffuser. There are many cuts at the back with fins for directing the incoming air. The shul looks largely inspired by F1 supercars, and we can see that there is a lot of uniqueness being in the competitive region.
There are no wing mirrors shul, cameras are used to serve the purpose just like the introducing Audi e-Tron electric SUV. The main reason for using smaller turbines is mainly to reduce a major percent of weight.
Vazirani claims that shul can run from 0 to 100kmph in less than 2.5 seconds. On the other hand, Vazirani is aiming for introducing a pure electric range of 100-250km.
Shul will going for production in early 2021 and will be the first of Vazirani’s line of upcoming models. Vazirani also plans for having a wide range of multiple battery options and motor configurations.
