Lamborghini extends its first ever SUV Urus focussing on the track performance with an exclusive concept. “Squadra Corsa”, the motorsport division of the Lamborghini has released the more focused track spec Urus called the Urus ST-X concept.
The upcoming only track version of the Urus is getting ready for the Lamborgini’s one make championship scheduled in 2020. Squadra Corsa is working extensively for the concept. While the features, looks, and engine options have changed, the DNA of Urus is the same.
The new concept comes in the new green shade along with carbon fiber on the bonnet. The front is very new with black toned rectangular front grille and LED treated headlight units. The four-door SUV gets bulged wheel arches and the sloping roofline.
The list of features include21-inch single-nut aluminum alloy wheels, hexagonal shaped racing exhausts and a large rear spoiler. On the rear, the taillights are blackened but the style toned to be the same.
Under the hood, the car offers a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 650hp power and 850Nm torque. Though the engine is the same, the intake valves for better cooling. There are many new systems also such as the fire suppression system, FT3 fuel tank and there is also a steel roll cage. The concept will be 25% less in weight because of the four-door materials in the construction of the body.
The one -make championship four-door the combination of track one and off-road racing, with FIA approved tracks in Europe and Middle-East.
