All new Hyundai Santro

Hyundai has always been updating its models with new design every now and then. Over the years, many new models came and have been updated to latest technology. But, santro which is a grand old model has never seen any facelift, update or relaunch in the past 10 years but still, the craze for this entry-level hatchback has never gone down.

Hyundai has launched an all new santro model just few days back which created very buzz in the automotive field. This launch is considered one of the most important ones as it comes from Hyundai.

The all-new entry-level hatchback is all, except getting the logo and is very impressive. This creates a perception of the competition amongst Renault Kwid, Datsun Go and Redi Go, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and much more entry-level.

As we can expect, the price of this new model can come between 3.89L to 5.45L (Ex-Showroom). The new hatchback comes in four varaints and all of them get power from the 1.1L four-cylinder engine. There are two options: petrol and CNG which deliver 68bhp and 58bhp of power respectively.  The engine comes mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox. There is also a 5 speed AMT gearbox for the petrol option.

Considering the design, there is a whole new body language that can look like that of the i10 model. There are sharp headlight units with widespread grill. There are entry-level fog lamps that are now a little bit moved up. The height stays the same but the windows are much wider and curved back with the vertical type of lights.

There is lot space on the inside and the dashboard reminds us of the old i10 model. There is even a wide range of specifications which are provided according to the variant.

On the whole, the car is very nice with space-friendly design, entry-level specifications, and welcoming interiors. All this comes under this stipulated price tag should be an appreciable move.
