Buzz from Tata for Tigor


Tigor is one of the newest and most seen models from Tata on the Indian roads. As the company is celebrating one year of Tigor being on the Indian roads, Tata has launched a limited edition for tigor. This special edition of tigor is named as “Buzz” which is available only in the XT variant. This new model costs around 5.68L(Ex-Showroom Delhi) for the petrol version whereas the diesel version goes to 6.75L (Ex-Showroom Delhi).

The price tag is Rs 12000 more than the regular models. The additional cosmetics are available in the form of an accessory kit. The list continues to have many more exterior and interiors which include.

  3. Dual tone wheel covers.
  4. front grille with red inserts.
  5. badge of “limited edition”.

  2. red colour inserts around the AC vents.

Though for a tag of 12000, Buzz offers an appreciable level of features this model still lacks in many basic features like projector headlamps, rearview camera, airbags and it would be better if this variant comes with an AMT geartrain. The other standard features include manual AC vents, audio system, phone controls, central lock, electrical OVRMs, height adjustable seats on the driver side.

The Tigor is powered with a 1.2L petrol engine that churns out 85bhp power @ 6000rpm and 114Nm torque @ 3500rpm. The petrol mill present with a 5 speed AMT gearbox in XT and XZ variants. The other options include a 1.0L diesel unit that put out 70bhp power @ 4000rpm and 140Nm torque @ 3000rpm. This mill is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Furthermore, the special edition “Buzz” is only available in manual gear transmission.

The model comes with a load of features in the top variant that includes 8-speaker Harman audio system, 5-inch touch infotainment system, automatic climate control. There is also a 4-bar mechanism for the boot which gives a capacity of 419Litres. In addition to this the safety features include ABS, EBD, dual airbags and CSC ( Corner stability control ) system.

This model can exclusively compete with many mid-range sedans like Ford Aspire, Honda Amaze and can also be in competition with many premium hatchbacks because of its price tag of 4.84L to 7.19L (Ex-Showroom Delhi).
