Honda CR-V Special Edition Priced At Rs. 29.50 Lakh

Honda will soon launch the Special Edition of the Honda CR-V, and it is presumed to be valued at Rs 29.50 lakh. Honda will launch a special edition of CR-V with new features and updates. Consequently, it will cost more than the current model.

This special edition includes a tweaked grille, redesigned front and rear bumper. This SUV will replace the chrome with dark material, including a hands-free tailgate, electrically adjustable front seat, auto fold wing mirrors, running boards, and illuminated door scuff plates. This current CR-V model already has LED headlights. However, this forthcoming one will feature active cornering as an additional bonus.

Earlier, a diesel engine with front-wheel drive and an AWD was available. Perhaps with the launch of BS6 transformation, the diesel engine variant was discontinued. There are no notable changes in the special edition. This edition has a 2.0-liter, naturally aspirated petrol unit that makes 152 bhp and 189 Nm peak torque. Also, it has a CVT gearbox that is available in a five-seater variant.

The Honda CR-V Special Edition will be launched in India at Rs 29.50 lakh, which costs about Rs. 1.23 lakh more than the prevailing CR-V model. Besides, its manufacturing is limited to about 45 units. Moreover, the CR-V Special Edition’s styling is based upon the CR-V façalift sold abroad. This special edition will compete with SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4, and MG Gloster.
