MG has revealed the dual-tone variant of Hector, and online bookings for the same has already commenced with a minimal amount of Rs. 50,000. The model is available in two colors, candy white and glazes red contrasted with black roof. The dual-tone option is available on the top-spec Sharp variant with sunroof top.
The mid-size SUV with a single tone color available include Burgundy Red, Aurora Silver, Starry Black. In comparison, the dual-tone option is a supreme addition with a premium look.
The MG Hector dual-tone options will be equipped with three powertrains. Inclusive 1.5-liter turbo petrol is automatic with 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Mild-hybrid specs and standard turbo petrol engine is available in this dual-tone. However, the mild hybrid is coupled with a six-speed manual, whereas the non-hybrid petrol is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch gear.
Talking about another two variants is a diesel manual with a 2.0-liter diesel with 6-speed manual transmission.
There are no noticeable changes to the cabin, with equipment and trimmings which remain unchanged as the standard Hector Sharp. The price is yet to be announced. But expect it to over and above the single tone variant Rs 30,000 which price would be between Rs 12.84 lakh to Rs 17.89 lakh.
Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Creta are among the established SUV competitors present in the market, which is in the same price range and offers a dual-tone colour option.
