Volkswagen rolls out the Flagship SUV, Touareg 2019

Volkswagen is one of the famous European automakers which is famous for its up-to-date German technology. Touareg is the one and only flagship SUV from Volkswagen which was waiting for an update from a very long time. At last, the car is getting an update with the latest technology and is all set to give a tough competition to other Euro Automakers.

Volkswagen keeps the tag of “high price cars” because of its German build quality and technology. While this quality doesn’t give the bestseller tag but is giving a tough competition to famous Euro automakers.

Now, Launch of Tiguan and update of all other sedans was just a sample for making their way for the hallmark model Touareg. This would be a testimony for the company in the coming years.

Touareg is running in its 3rd generation and there are many trappings: air suspension with variable height, all wheel drive, and many others. But the car has the same 5-seating system like the RangeRover and Porsche Cayenne.

While the body is huge and attractive, the interiors, the trims, and cuts are very simple yet significant. The front is very impulsive with chrome stripped grille and LED treated headlight units and the air intake slits. The roofline is straight going and stands very tall. The side profile is simple yet bold enough.

The rear is very simple with LED taillights and silver accents. There are twin spoilers and the bumper is bulky yet simple going.

The interiors include the massive LED screen in the center of the dashboard which tilts slightly towards the driver side. The A/C vents are continuous just like the Audi Q7 (75L to 80L mark). There are digital controls along with the console. The three-spoke steering wheel comes with all audio and Bluetooth controls. Whereas there is much more space around the gearbox. The dashboard is well built with a nice texture of wood, metal, and plastics. the quality is nice and there is a welcoming feeling when you enter the cabin.

Also, there is a host of technology like wireless charging, cooling, and heating systems, massaging front seats and ambient lighting also.

The car offers 3.0L V6 petrol and turbo- diesel engine. There is also a possibility for a hybrid too. While having the tag of “pure German”, This car can be costly but not as much as Audi, Benz.

The car tops the luxury race but in the Indian market, luxury is not the only key. There are other things and facilities which doesn’t make it -the finest. Well, if one wants the perfect blend of technology and luxury, then Touareg can serve the purpose.
